The Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) doesn’t have a dedicated telephoto lens, so all its zoom is digital, not optical. That means you can pinch to zoom when taking photos or videos, but anything beyond the main view is basically cropping the image, which can make it look less sharp or a bit grainy so it doesn’t really give a clean 8× zoom or higher like phones with a proper telephoto lens.
