- Answer Active today mean you subscribe to a carrier like T Mobile,At&t,Sprint,Verizon and so on&so forth to pay bill 4 d carrier and sometimes for d phone u have in store already each month.And Active later mean you not able to subscribe to any carrier you free to do by yourself.And lot of times that phone's is unlocked.
