“I have the G5s, is an upgrade in the works for this model in the future?”

I purchased the Moto g5s plus last and lost it this year so I replaced it with the g6 which seems to have a few upgrades to it. I am pleased with everything and especially the price. I liked the g5s plus and would recommend it to anyone as well as the g6. ENJOY

Snarky answer; Yes, until they go out of business there will always be an upgrade in the future. Better answer; Motorola released the G5S about 5 months after the G5 launched. They could do the same again this year but I don't think the G5S did very well so I doubt they would release another mid-year refresh. Seeing as they have 3 really great G6 phones right now (2 in the US) I wouldn't hold my breath on getting another phone until next year.
