The Moto G7 charges using the high powered 15W (3X more powerful than standard chargers) USB C. It doesn't use wireless charging. Wireless charging would be a downgrade.

Alas, much as many of us would have liked that, Motorola did not include the hardware for inductive charging in this product.

No, you cannot charge the Moto G7 wirelessly. You must use the supplied USB-C charger.
