“What is the difference between this newer version of the Hint and the original? Is it better in any way? Is this an improved version of the original Hint? I don't understand the inclusion of a "bluetooth headset" since the Hint IS a bluetooth ear piece to begin with. ♐”

I thought the same thing while reviewing which one I wanted to get. I think the new name of this one is Hint + Bluetooth headset. They added the plus sign and just added Bluetooth headset to the name of the product. The name makes it sound like you are getting the Hint and a Bluetooth headset. They could have made it less confusing.

I have both and this newer one is improved in sound quality (On both the user and the person on the other end of the call), It fits in the ear better and is more comfortable. The battery charging case has more capacity so it keeps it charged up for an additional 7 hours over the original.

The original model costs more than the new one and has shorter battery life. The new model has improved the battery life and audio quality for what you hear. And it's cheaper.
