Hi Treasure, you may be thinking about your sim card. It is what makes your phone work with your carrier. The sd card, is used for storage in the phone and can be transferred as well to the moto x4 as it can use an sd card in the same slot that holds the sim card. As long as your sim card is the correct size, it should work just fine in this phone as it is unlocked for all carriers.

There are three different sizes of SIM Cards, if it's a different size than Nano, then you would have to request a Nano SIM Card from Net 10 for the new phone. Your number should stay the same.
