QuestionI wear hearing aids and am very hard of hearing. I need a good volume in ringing and hearing. I need at least 32 and have T-Mobile. Would like a phone that takes good pictures. I am unable to afford an expensive phone, would this fit my needs?

QuestionAbout the "with activation", I know it means I will get a discounted price by selecting a specific carrier for this cell phone. But my point is can I cancel the carrier's plan right after I receive the cell phone? Because I've got my own SIM card already.

This phone works in and outside the US but can't guarantee that all carrier features will work outside the US as this phone is a US variant and has a different band. I would suggest contacting your preferred service provider to see if this phone will work with their service. We do not encourage customers buying a phone from a different country as the warranty and compatibility are limited to where it was purchased. -Zeke

- Answer Assuming we're talking about the Moto X4, this phone is *not* locked. This phone is *unlocked*. And, yes, it can be used with virtually any carrier. I assume you knew this and it just got missed in the typing, but I thought to correct this for others. Directly to your question, if I understand what you're asking, I believe you should be able to use this phone with your pre-paid VZW plan (so long as your current phone has a SIM card). While I'm not playing in the VZW pre-paid world, my understanding is that VZW restricts what you can do with the phones they sell you to work on their pre-paid system, but they can't restrict you from using an unlocked phone on their system.

- Answer It is just a misleading advertisement. This phone is an unlocked phone. So, no activation is needed. You just insert your own SIM card, and the phone works per your own cell phone plan. Do not pay attention to the "with activation" thing. Best Buy should not put it there when the cell phone is an unlocked one.
