• It holds my 9.7 iPad pro with ease, this is a great thing to have. I use my iPad pro for directions instead of my small phone, and this works out well. When I have my grandson I put it in his car seat cup holder and put the iPad in there and put his movies on.

• I use it to hold a tablet, the laptop obviously would be heavier. That being said, when using it for the tablet, it's very shaky and moves around alot. I would not purchase it again, honestly.
