No issue so far with GS65... previous MSI from last year was horrible/keys on keyboard stopped working/popping off. This is the 4th MSI laptop I've bought so hoping no issue with this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The issue with the build quality is that the chassis can creak from time to time which translates to possible issues with fitment of parts. It's been mentioned in every review I've read and I experience it myself. The bottom piece of aluminum is super thin, so that maybe that's what creaks. Other than that, the laptop itself feels solid to me, and like I said it doesn't happen everytime the thing is touched.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The build quality is fine. The chassis is all aluminum. In order to achieve the light weight and low profile, the aluminum is thin. The quality of the build itself, however, is good. If you drop the laptop on the floor it's going to leave a mark, like any laptop, and will probably ding the aluminum chassis. I travel on airplanes all the time with this laptop in a backpack with another laptop, external monitor, and various power adapters and accessories, and I am not concerned that this laptop will break or bend while being transported. If you are concerned about cosmetic protection I'd recommend transporting it in a thin laptop sleeve.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Seems to be great quality, and my son takes it back and forth to school every day with no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't noticed ANY build quality issues. This laptop is light and fast. Best laptop I have ever owned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No sooner than I answered, 'no issues' the enter key periodically doesn't work - very frustrating. Taking it back as appears this is a real issue looking at WEB. Sorry thought was fine...
