“Does this support a headset (mic and audio) through a single port or will i need a splitter? For comparison I can plug my analog astro headset into a single port on my razer laptop and get both mic and audio out capability.”

• it has two separate jacks, one for mic in, one for stereo headphones out. you will need a splitter.

• This will have separate audio and microphone ports (you can see them in the first picture on the product page)!
