that is not standard. that review was describing a flaw/neglected step of assembly process he or she discovered on their particular pc if i recall. its good to inspect your pc's connections before initial power on but not typical to find this situation i should hope. i had no such issue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No tab, what they're referring to is the removal of the cooler to access the area between it and the cpu. Simply remove the 4 screws holding it in place and reapply fresh thermal paste. I did with mine and immediately much better temps.
