Can I use a i9 on this motherboard null

This motherboard only supports AMD processors, on the AM4 socket for AMD. For an i9 processor, you need a motherboard that supports the Intel socket. The specific intel socket depends on which i9 you want to use (11900k, 12900k, 13900k, etc.)

The B550 Gaming Plus is an AMD platform motherboard and does not accept Intel CPUs.
