• no motherboards keep windows on them, thats the Hard drive, SSD, or M.2 drive

• No, the motherboard does not come with any windows boot drive. The windows boot is pulled from your storage device and not the motherboard.

• Motherboards do not come with any type of operating system pre-installed. You will need to install a boot drive, then load an operating system onto that drive.
