• It shouldnt, I believe all b/x 5xx motherboards support 5000 series out of the box, its the 4xx motherboards that require a bios flash to support the 5000 series CPU's.

• Most likely it will. However there is a option to flash the BIOS just using a button push without having any CPU or memory installed.
