How many m.2 slots does this laptop have? null

The Crosshair 16 HX is capable of supporting up to two M.2 2280 drives. One port is up to Gen5 compatible, the other port is Gen4 compatible only.

2. I populated Gen 5 slot and 1 unpopulated Gen 4 slot that you will need to obtain a bracket for to mount a 2nd SSD. Contact MSI customer support to obtain one for free.
