- Answer Yes the screen is Freesync. I have the 5900HX version of the laptop. Windows 11 with latest drivers. It has both Freesycn and Enhanced Sync.

QuestionI got USB-C to DP cable, specifically version 1.4, to link my laptop with a high refresh rate monitor. However, the monitor displays no signal. I have tested the cable with other laptops and it appears to function correctly, help please.

- Answer The motherboard is inverted. You will find very good tutorial videos on youtube for this. Is is complicated but still highly doable. Just watch the videos to know which connectors to disconnect. I upgraded both RAM and SSD myself.

Questiondoes it have any hinge durability issues?

- Answer Purchased for my son to go to college. Hinge cover snapped off first. Then screws holding hinge to screen loosened. They are behind plastic on the screen so they are not accessible. The hinged snapped from the screen causing the screen to malfunction. Very poor design and YES it is a known issue. If I did not have insurance Best Buy claims it looks like it was damaged and not a faulty product. Don't recommend
