Takes DDR4 3200MHz laptop ram up to 64GB or two 32gb cards. 16gb is fine for most people, but 32GB may be the sweet spot for intensive 3d applications or rendering. Buy the RAM with the lowest CL rating (Cas Latency). The lower the CL rating the faster the RAM.

Please try again later.Don't go under 16 gigs of system memory if you're going to be gaming. 8 gigs is the minimum you should have for Windows alone even though it doesn't use all of it. It will also help keep the system from hammering your swap file which u wouldn't disable unless you had 32 gigs of system memory.
