Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I have heard that the RTX 2060 variants run extremely hot and can potentially thermal throttle rather easily. In my case, I chose the variant with the GTX 1660Ti and i7 9750H. For one, this one has a better processor (6 core, 12 threads) which will be better for the future versus the i5 4 core. Also, in benchmark videos I have seen the 1660Ti performance in many games and it isn't that far behind the RTX 2060 in some circumstances, especially in games that are extremely demanding and cause thermal throttling. In your case, I would suggest this model over the 2060/i5 variant, especially since you are talking about games like Fortnite where both of these GPUs are fully capable of running smoothly and keeping high frames.
