“I have two questions on this laptop. First it says HD screen. Other MSI laptops boast an IPS level display how does this stack up? Second how is the heat under load? Is it still comfortable on your lap or will you need a cooling pad?”

This model also features an IPS-level display, according to our spec page. Normally, this will generate some heat, but we generally recommend that you do not cover the intake or exhaust ports, so a cooling pad would generally help with cooling!
