• The MSI machine I purchased (Modern 15), has the regular Windows, not the s. It will support both.

• Based on the standard configuration, this laptop comes with Windows 10 Home. Yes, you will be able to install and use Zoom and Skype. As for Windows 10 S Edition, it doesn't allow the support for these two applications is because it's limited to low-end hardware. Just like any application, there are hardware requirements.
