• Yes, this board will support the new 9900k. This is a z390 board with a robust VRM and an 8 pin and 4 pin cpu power connector. I have a 9700k overclocked to 5Ghz. You’ll be very happy with the board!

• It is a series Z390 chipset so yes it is 300 series. This is the newest chipset available.
