• You can go to the website and download it to a USB drive. That is what I did with mine. Then go into the BIOS and update it. It will ask if you where the source is and you just point it to the flash drive.

• No you don’t have to use the dvd to install the software you can just download it from the internet.

• If by software ya mean bios, you do not need to install anything. Once you got the pc up and running you can make a bootable usb drive with the current bios. Instructions for this process are listed on MSI website
