Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Ben, unfortunately HDMI only supports up to 60hz bandwidth even though a 2080 is powerful and capable. The only way to achieve 144hz on these monitors is through a DisplayPort cable or a DVI cable. You could try an HDMI To DisplayPort adapter but I don’t think it’ll work since max bandwidth for HDMI is 60hz. These monitors have HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI ports to connect them to a computer. I have 3 of these monitors but swapped one out with an HDMI. Monitor 1 of 3 has drop down list for refresh rate from 60hz,100hz,120hz, and 144hz connected via DisplayPort. Monitor 2 of 3 is same as previous via DisplayPort but monitor 3 of 3 only has 60hz refresh rate option available connected via HDMI. Hope this helps!! Wish I could add pics but website says pic size is too big sorry! :/
