Hello MURPH - Here is the link for the owners manual for this monitor. https://download-2.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/monitor/PRO_MP251_E2v1.1_English.pdf On page 6 of the manual you will find the monitor overview. The number 2 highlights the location of the power button that also acts as the navigation key for the on screen display where brightness can be adjusted. On page 10 there is an overview of the on screen display guide. To adjust image brightness you will need to navigate to the Image menu and then brightness can be adjusted from there.
