Q: QuestionDoes this USB-C port not support connection to a docking station with external monitor? It seems to not be PD or DP enabled or thunderbolt. It's like the usb-C port is way outdated for a new laptop.

• A:Answer Agreed with Wandy...MSI screwed us all by using a cheap USB C port on a late model laptop. Then to learn about the restriction of not supporting a docking station or hub for video extension to a 3rd monitor really blows - they should've been required to state this restriction up-front in their USB C description before a consumer purchases. I personally would have spent a bit more money for an updated USB C port that can do video. So, this now slants my view of MSI and I will not buy anything from them in the future.
