• The manufactures warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you wish to extend your warranty with the manufacture you may contact their customer service department to inquire about that service.

• I assume you are referring to the options area on the BB page listing, under "Protect your computer." This is one of the options available for adding a BB warranty to the one that comes from MSI. If you select this for your purchase, there is no additional charge for the PC--you just pay for the computer itself, and any taxes. Selecting one of the other four options adds 1-4 years of BB's warranty service (backed by the Geek Squad), depending on your preference (and budget).
