I have used both a 1 and a 2.4 charger. I did not experience any heat issues, but as expected, the 1 was very slow to charge. I have used the 2.4 the last 6 charges with excellent results.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your 2 amp charger will probably get hot as well as it will be operating at its maximum capability. You’re better off to use a charger with an output capability that is greater than draw of the attached device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is OK to use a 1.0A to recharge the AdventureMax charger, however, it will recharge the AdventureMax slower than a 2.4A adapter. Just be sure you're using a UL certified adapter.
