“Do the two rear speakers generate Dolby Atmos sound like the sound bar?”

In the manual that you can find on Nakmichi website for the 7.2.4 it says you can lay the surround speakers down tilted upward to enhance the vertical effect. I just received my system on January 3, 2020 and if you are listening to Dolby Atmos you will hear more sounds from the rear speakers than you would with traditional 5.1 or 7.1 playback. To make sure you get the full effect of Dolby Atmos make sure to use the SSE button and make sure that Surround is active on the system. I have attached the manual for you hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Atmos is 7 channel and uses the rear surround speakers for sound effects. On the sound bar there is a test button that will announce each speaker for test. Most times the rear surround speakers are not noticeable but when they fire you can tell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The rear speakers are the main source for Atoms. You can only have a 7.2 surround sound set up, or a 3.2.4 Atmos set up. This system is poorly advertised.
