• I wouldn't recommend that because this system processes independently to have the sse and Dolby capability, it also upmixs Dolby to allow films/shows/content that is not made for a 9 2.4 setup to have the correct sound

• You can try but it won't be the best setup. Earc to receiver should work depending on what receiver you have.
