I did not make a sharp 90 degree angle in corners - instead adhering the strip up to about 1/2” from the corner, then gently bending it and adhering the remainder of the strip about 1/2” away from the corner, continuing on. The adhesive holds just fine even with this gap and I think its better for the longevity of the strip not to have its wires bent as much as hard angles would require.
