Hello and thank you for reaching out! Nanoleaf Shapes have different Controllers and Linkers than the Nanoleaf Lines. So you would have to get a Starter Kit for the Nanoleaf Lines first before the Expansion pack since the Starter kit would have the PSU and the Controller for the Lines. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can mix and match any of the three Shapes, but you can't mix Lines with any Shapes. They are a different technology and require different controllers. You can, however, place Lines and Shapes adjacent to each other and control them separately but using the same HomeKit automations. FYI, a Shapes Triangle fits nicely inside a triangle made from three Lines elements.
