• A:Answer Yes, it can sit on any hard surface (we don't recommend using on carpeted or other soft surfaces which could possibly block airflow). Overheat protection is an included safety feature to ensure the unit shuts down if it gets too hot.

• A:Answer Please follow the safe operation guidelines and installation specs outlined in the manual to maintain clearances to combustibles. Elevated temperatures on the wall or in the air above the appliance can cause melting, discolouration or damage to decorations, a T.V or other electronic components. Please check with the T.V manufacturer if they provide any further specs regarding this.
