You should be fine. You just need to download the Google Home App from the app store on your phone or tablet. Once you set every thing up just say you command (location of device) like "ok google. Show me the front door." Your nest or ring should stream directly to the screen. You cannot look back for events like you can on the nest app.

I would say that it is easy to understand I use the nest doorbell and security cameras with both my iPhone and Android. I do not believe that you will need online assistance the videos that are provided for installation and setup are quite good.
