• Nest Wifi points don't have Ethernet ports for a wired connection. You can add them as Wi-Fi points to create your Wi-Fi mesh in the Google Home app. You can take check out the details here: https://support.google.com/wifi/answer/9548301

• No. They don't even have a spot for a hard line. They are designed to be a wifi mesh. Access Points are also smart assistants also.

• I have 1 base with a hard connection & 3 extenders with only WiFi connections to make up our mesh system at the office. Works very well.
