QuestionWill 1 google 4x4AC2200 mesh point work with brighthouse internet & modem? How many sq feet will it cover? Where should I put it for connection issues in the basement, the house is 2,200 Sq. Feet, the wifi currently works on the main level and upstairs?

- Answer Well, it depends... I see no reason it wouldn't work with any ethernet router. The speed should be fine. I run a large number of devices without problems. Mine covers me all the way out to our mailbox which is a fair distance so it should cover your entire home but it depends on what might be in between. Mine is the 2 pack but really I didn't need the second transmitter except for Google Assistant in each room. In fact, my Nest WiFi is so powerful it kicked the neighbors off Channel One and took over. When I use a meter to measure the strength it pegs the meter from almost anywhere on the property and I am talking an 8 apartment complex, the entire parking lot and out to the street. My only gripe is that it's plug and play. Just plug it in. There is nothing to configure. Probably a good point for anyone that wants it to be simple. But I am a tech guy and like to have control. But for the wife, she could set it up and she isn't tech savvy. It is really simple. Best place to put the transmitter is up as high as possible in the room. Mine resides on top of the bookshelf alongside the router. My second transmitter is mid way up the room on a shelf between the front and back of the house. I don't think you would be disappointed.

- Answer I'm not sure exactly what your delimma is, but if you want better speeds, that is an ISP issue. You may need to upgrade your plan or switch providers for better speeds overall. This enables better coverage through out your home/office to help elminate dark spots. The speed coming in is close to the speed coming out, and cannot make it faster.

QuestionI live in a 2000SF condo on the 4th floor. I cannot put the satellite points on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I need a strong Wi-Fi signal in my 1st floor garage to setup Garage door opener application. Will I get a strong WiFi in garage from modem on 4th floo?

- Answer Probably not since you need the Nest wifi points setup fairly close to each other to get a decent signal. If the building is concrete or metal you'll have even more of an issue with signal pushing out to your basement. Best thing I would tell you is figure out a way to get at least one or more points on the other floors. Make a deal with your neighbors to let you have one in their house.... Just make sure you have your Router password set as a very strong one so nobody can figure it out easily. LoL Good Luck!!

- Answer It will work, but with those speeds, depending on how many devices are connected and using, it could slow things down a bit. You can easily prioritize connections and set limits on devices through Google's Home app.

- Answer The router does not have google assistant with it....but the two wifi points both have google assistant & speaker with them. The router is just a router.

- Answer I used mine similar to this way. I just plugged one unit into the available Ethernet port of my modem/router and the other two placed throughout my property. I now have Wi-Fi in all the areas that were problems for me before. In theory I have two Wi-Fi connections. One from the original router/modem and the new one from the google nest.

- Answer Sorry, but not sure about Viasat compatibility. I would be surprised if it didn’t. My Ring doorbell and cameras connected automatically with no issue.

- Answer Yes. You can play music, manage your Wi-Fi network, find answers, control your connected devices, and more using just your voice. While the Nest Wifi point has a speaker with Google Assistant, the Nest Wifi router does not include a speaker or Google Assistant.

- Answer No, I'm sorry, you'll have to have an internet service provider to use this Google Nest mesh system. I was int he same case as yours and finally was able to get Starlink internet and am very happy with it. Had Viasat and HughesNet in the past and was very happy to let them know I have Starlink now. Get on their system if you have no other options...

Nest Wifi is a router that broadcasts Wi-Fi to any Wi-Fi capable device. It requires to be connected directly to a modem using an Ethernet cable to set it up and get an internet connection from your ISP that you'll have a monthly internet plan.
