Yes — the new Nest WiFi is backwards compatible with the legacy Google WiFi

Please try again later.The existing AC1200 does a fair amount of coverage- estimated to be about 3500 square feet, by adding the ac2200 3 pack....the potential coverage area will be about double. Why not just add a node or google router to an area where you need it most? just a thought
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are completely interoperable. I setup my new nest Wifi 3 pack and added 1 of my old google WiFi units to the mesh and then regifted my other two Gwifi units to my in laws.
