• Nest has been bought out by Google and thus has kicked out of third-party applications. It will only work with Google assist and no third-party integrations. I.e. Alexa or Siri

• This product will only work with Google. It is been bought by Google and is deliberately try to avoid any third-party integration i.e. Alexa or Siri.

• From what I have learned, yes you can. You can use your assistant to lock it, but by design, you can not unlock it. Which I believe is a plus!! I don’t know about Alexa though.
