No it does not have telephony capabilty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It won't support their Voice over IP VOIP system. So you will still need to rent their modem (or buy a retail replica of the modem they offer which is a bit pricey) You may want to consider a service like OOMA for your home phone needs and stick to a double play package. Please note, If you want Wi-Fi in your home you will need to also buy a router of some kind.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Comcast (Xfinity) double play - my phone is Vonage - everything works great once Comcast enables it on the network - that could be done online or via phone. Takes about 10-15 minutes for them to send the single and enable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what model you are inquiring about (I have a CM500, a modem only). But no matter, if it can do the DOSSSIS 3.0 it will work for your internet data. If by Triple Play, your talking phone service, then no, you need a Comcast Xfinity modem/router combo with built-in voip (a place to plug in your phone line).
