Signal strength and reliability are only as good as your Internet service provider. This does not have WiFi capabilities, so you will need a separate WiFi router with it.

However, I'm not certain if it will increase your internet speed anymore than whichever modem your current provider has issued you. Most ISP's quote a specific speed, which typically can only be met at peak times, under peak conditions.(Via their router, and through the modem to CPU.)

This provides over 120mps to my laptop via Ethernet and over 8 wireless devices at close to 100mps via my new Netgear nighthawk router. These many devices are spread across over 5,000 sqft home
