• Yes this should work fine. One port is connected to your router to gain access to internet then you have 4 available ports to connect devices on same network via ethernet. Both computers and printer and still have a port left for another device in future. Now that all devices are on same network they will be able to find each other or communicate so you have access to use all together. Hope this helps.

• Yes. Just be sure that the switch also connects to your router. Connections: Router to switch (one cable), first computer to switch ( one cable), second computer to switch (one cable), and printer to switch (also one ethernet cable.)
