Is this a modem, does it match with centrylink? null

Kind of it’s mean uses in order to give Wired connection to multiple people if you don’t have enough ports or if you don’t have any extra ports in the house or apartment. I use mine in an apartment that only has one ethernet outlet and I’m able to connect multiple people off of it

No not a modem. You will need to have a modem attached to this for all your devices. This is a network switch that you hook up to your modem to give you additional ethernet ports to connect additional devices.
