Yes, that should work just fine. You'll know it's working by looking at the activity LED's next to the switch ports. They should start flickering showing network traffic.

Then I have a wi-fi hub, a PS4 and a MAC all running out if it no problem with I believe one port to spare (its not in front me right now) Its extremely reliable...and very easy to setup
