You would need to connect this device via Ethernet.

This will be part of your home network. You can use these to consolidate several items in one area to single Ethernet that will connect to your main router/modem. For example, we have a smart TV, Blu-Ray player, XBOX and Tivo all connected to this hub downstairs, then a single Ethernet run to the main router upstairs. Can also help if you need more ports than your router directly has.
