• Yes you need an ethernet cable. It is not included in packaging. We used it to convert our old telephone wiring into web plugs. It works great.

• It is not wifi so a cable is required. I can't remember if it had a cable, but I think so.

• You do need a line from the modem and a line to your wifi and a line to your pc. Not sure, but I think it came with one cable.
