• If your internet speed is only 100 mbps. Having a 1Gbps router will have little impact in improving streaming plus the AC1600 smart wifi does not have the load sharing ability that the upgraded version like the AC2600 has. Even with the AC2600 for better streaming you would at minimum want 300Mbps to prevent lagging of your streaming ability especially if you have multiple devices on the wifi network.
