Xfinity to me has a convenience that other providers lack in my personal opinion. Have you ever noticed that when you are out in public or on the go and using your phone to look for available wifi sources , you will often see an xfinity connection available? Well if you select that network, your phone should automatically connect you to a different screen, where you enter your log in credentials for your own personal xfinity account.... BAM you'll get connected!! No matter where you are. Now, I gave you an example using a phone, but the same/similar method will apply when attempting to connect your laptop. What the Nighthawk wifi adapter will do is give you a stronger connection to that xfinity network, faster speeds, and a longer reach if you were to say in your car somewhere using your laptop.

Please try again later.I assume that the laptop you have has an enabled wifi adapter and that you can use Xfiniy's wifi in your house to connect to the internet without a connected cable anywhere within the house? If this true, then Xfinity has hotspots locations around the country that you can connect to but you will will need to search for xfinitywifi using your laptop. You will need to be within range of an Xfinity wifi device for this to work and get your access to the internet. The other solution would be to buy or lease a wifi mobile hotspot to connect your laptop to get internet access anywhere.

Makes it easier to transport and being so small less likely to get broken.
