LOADED Question! (Truck driver humour) A lot of people think getting a wireless adaptor will make their wi-fi better. It can. BUT, the most important part of ANY WI-FI setup is the router itself! THAT'S the "hub" to the internet. If it's a cheap old 2.4 then nothing you do will make things better other than moving closer to the router itself. That said, if you're using a laptop built-in WI-FI this is normally WAY better than what the laptop has built into it. I travel a lot and I use this adaptor in hotels and I normally get a decent signal. Then again, if the hotel is packed with people and they are all trying to use the wi-fi at the same time things can get VERY slow. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wireless connectivity is a two part equation. If the truck stop has a weak signal a better wireless adapter on your device may or may not help increase your signal as it depends on the router/access-point at the other end. With that said, the external antenna on the adapter may get enough of a better signal to make the service more usable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We were receiving a weak signal with the internal WIFI adapter of the computer. Using this one we had max bars vs. no bars to one bar. No promises, but it should grab the signal better than your current internal Wireless adapter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This adapter has the longest range of any card I have seen. My current card is about 200 feet away from the router, and through 4 walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a wifi adapter, it's not actual wifi> The product is used so that your computer is able to connect to wifi> you have to have an accessible wifi network in order for it to work.
