This device is intended for use in connecting a device to a WiFi network, such as a desktop computer. It doesn't generate a WiFi network, but connects to already existing ones for devices that can't normally connect to one on their own. If you're looking for a device to generate a WiFi network, you need a WiFi Router, which I would generally recommend any ASUS products for Wireless Routers. I've been using ASUS products for my Routers for years and they tend to be extremely reliable.
