• Yes. All you have to do in plug it in, the computer will install the driver, and within a couple of minutes you'll be connected to the wifi.

• Yes, if your laptop doesn't have any built in wireless you can use this as USB wireless device and connect to your wireless SSID.

• If you do not have a laptop with built in Wi-Fi this adapter will allow you to use Wi-Fi. This will not give you Internet like cell phone data. Just Wi-Fi abilities when you are able to connect to Wi-Fi
