Is this 3.0 usb adapter compatible with 2.0 usb computer if so will I still get the 5g feature? null

yes, it is backward compatible. 2.5GHz and 5GHz will work with both USB 2.0 and 3.0.
2.0 can only get a max speed of 480 MBps, you'll have to use 3.0 if you want to take full advantage of the speed of this adapter

yes. have noticed it connects at 2.4 ghz with netgear c7000 wireless cable modem on non wireless hp computer, then can click on connect to 5 ghz network. starts with 2.4 ghz whether turning computer on or restarting then click connect to 5 ghz network.

I don't see why it wouldn't. You will get 5ghz but your speeds will be limited to USB 2.0 speeds.

Yes it is, but to enjoy it at its fullest is have a 3.0 USB port. You will have 5g using 2.0. I recommend getting the 2.0 version for this model.

Yes it works on mine, and no you need a 3.0 port. Still boosted my speeds and will work till I change my ports to 3.0
